Small Business Week
Small Business Week began in 1979 when Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) business centres in the Lower Fraser Valley in British Columbia decided to organize small business management sessions during one week. The rest they say is history as in 1981, Small Business Week® was officially launched nationwide by BDC.
Small Business Week for 2012 will take place from October 14-20. The CLEA's gala is just one of a few events taking place during this week celebrating Canadian entrepreneurs.
