Although the weather was stormy, a good crowd turned out at the 2012 Annual General Meeting on March 29th. The agenda included a report on 2012 activities, administrative changes to the bylaws and policy manual and the approval of a new 3 year strategic plan.

Erika Stockley-Sommers was presented with a gift as she has completed 6 years of service as a director and must take a mandatory 1 year leave of absence. We appreciate the time and effort she has contributed during her time with the board.

At the AGM, Martha Mac Donald was acclaimed to represent the Eastern Labrador Arts Alliance and the cultural industries sector.

Lydia Chubbs was acclaimed as an At Large director.

We welcome both of these outstanding women to the Board of Directors.

At the February 14th board meeting the Board of Directors approved in principle the new Strategic Plan 2012-2015. This plan was ratified at the Annual General Meeting
